If you’ve ever dreamed of saying “I do” in the heart of the English countryside, where rustic charm meets elegant romance, then allow me to introduce you to one of my new favourite venues: The Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
I was recently invited for an overnight stay to experience the magic of this venue first-hand, and it’s safe to say I left completely enchanted (and very well fed, might I add!).

Nestled within 200 acres of private land, The Great Tythe Barn is a restored 16th-century stone barn that effortlessly blends period character with thoughtful modern touches. From the moment you arrive, you’re met with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and surroundings that feel straight out of a romantic film. Think exposed beams, honey-coloured Cotswold stone, pretty courtyards, and rolling fields in every direction.
But it’s not just the aesthetics that make it special—it’s the feeling you get as you walk through the space. It’s intimate but spacious, rustic but refined. Perfect for couples who want that countryside elegance without losing the comfort of a seamless, professionally run wedding.

The team went all out to showcase what couples can expect on their big day, and it was a treat to be so beautifully looked after. We were wined and dined to perfection, with exceptional catering from both @birch_catering and @catercaterltd, who delivered food that not only looked beautiful but was packed full of flavour.
